Scenic View Dairy - Fennville II

Project Description: Anaerobic Digestion Expansion (3rd Tank), Pipeline Quality Gas

  • This project was the first farm operation in the United States to produce both
    electricity and pipeline quality gas.
  • The initiative incorporated the addition of a third 80' diameter AD tank (to support farm
    growth) and the implementation of biogas upgrading equipment (150 scfm biogas -
    216,000 cft and 136 million BTU/day).
  • Pipeline quality natural gas is sold to the local utility at 125-145 psig.
