Our Associates have extensive experience in biobased products including upgraded biogas, fermentation processes, anaerobic digestion, logistic manufacturing equipment, purchasing, financial management, and marketing. Managers come from farming families, and formal qualifications include: electrical, mechanical and biosystems engineering; general contracting, and licensed electrical contractor.
Norma provides general management, sales, marketing and project design. Norma grew up on a 100-acre farm in Zeeland, Michigan, the youngest of 10 children. After serving as an officer in the US Marines, she joined Procter & Gamble of Cincinnati, where she held a variety of positions in chemical purchasing, business development and intellectual property monetization, including five years focused on the commercialization of biodegradable plastics derived from fermentation and three years purchasing the company's $400 million+ of detergent enzymes. After leaving P&G, she returned to her agricultural roots, having a passion for commercialization of farm waste-to-energy systems and synergistic bio-based products.
Norma has often been a Conference speaker and is an active proponent with government officials for program expansions / enhancements related to renewable energy.
Linda provides financial management, grant administration, and carbon market management. Linda also grew up on a farm in Zeeland, Michigan. Her career has provided her a diversified background in Purchasing and Finance. She has 20+ years experience at both $billion multi-plant manufacturing firms as well as start-up service companies. Her practical experiences include; Strategic Sourcing / Supplier Development, Staff and Project Management, Strategic and Financial Planning, Fixed Asset Management and Cost Accounting.
Andrew is a graduate of Michigan State University with a degree in Bio-Energy and Agricultural Engineering. He is responsible for design, engineering, construction, management, monitoring and operational optimization of biomass plants.
Larry Kruse acts as the primary contact and supervises the activities of the mechanical and electrical subcontractors, as well as the start up and commissioning activities at the biogas upgrading plants. Since retiring from BP, plc. in 2002, he has consulted on various petrochemical and bioenergy projects. Mr. Kruse is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a BS in Chemical Engineering and has 32 years in the oil and petrochemical industry.
Dr Andrew Peene is a specialist in Microbial Engineering and Biological System Optimization.
Scott provides biogas upgrading, electricity, and general contracting services.
Steve performs Construction work and provides Site Supervision.
